Human activities induce direct or indirect selection pressure on natural population and may ultimately affect population’s integrity. While numerous conservation programs aimed to minimize human‐induced genomic variation, human‐induced environmental variation may generate epigenomic variation potentially affecting fitness through phenotypic modifications.
